Meet Mugsy!

I was going to do this a little while ago but didnt and now I should wait and space them out a little but then i will forget and not get to it at all so...We have a new addition to our

family, we got him 3 weeks ago.

This is Mugsy he is 9 months old, half pekinese/ half japanese chin. He likes to chase the cats, Juno wouldnt come up stairs for the first week or so. but now he will come sit on the couch and watch, If Mugsy gets too close he will hiss. But that doesnt stop mugs from trying. He follows Jazz around, Jazz swipes at Mugsy and Mugs nips at Jazz so I guess both are ok with it. Mugsy gets REALLY excited to meet new people, jumps around like he doesnt get enough attention, but after that hes pretty mellow, he likes to play fetch but only when he wants too, not when you want him too, he thinks he's a cat, he walks around on the back of the couches and sits in the window. He also loves to bark at the birds outside, but doesnt bark much other than at the birds. He is doing great, He is a really cute puppy we like him lots. Thanks Tew family!

Happy Birthday Sophia!

My cute little baby just turned one! she had lots of fun, She loved opening her presents, and eating her cake.

Sophia weights a mere 16 pounds 5 ounces, and is 27 inches long, she has redish hair and blue eyes.

she is a good crawler and is doing very well at getting the hang of finger foods. she loves oatmeal, fruit and eggs, except for touching them, she wont, but she says mmm.. with every bite of scrambled egg. Its so cute

She says mama, dada, kitty and dog, and mmm... she has the cutest laugh,

she is full on mamas girl, no ifs, and, or buts about it. If I'm not holding her, (even if I'm cooking dinner, trying to fold clothes, or what ever else needs to be done) she is taking a nap. I am really good and using only one hand to do all my chores. I have to admit it does get a little frustrating but thats ok, because in no time at all she will be all grown up, She is a joy and a huge blessing in my life. I love you Sophia I am so honored to be your Mom.

What is structure

My baby is almost 10 months already :( , Logan is potty trained at 28 months, Isabelle will start kindergarten in 7 short months, and Mallory just turned 18, wow how time flies, and I'm convinced that the older you get the faster it goes. My house is usually messy, sometimes we stay in jammie's all day, the microwave is broke, the toilet is clogged, there is never a dull moment and I have unfinished projects in every room, and by the end of the day, I am happy to get the kids all in bed, and then as I lay in bed I can't wait to get up and see those cute little faces again. We are feeling the strain on the economy as everyone is, I often think i should get a job so I can help out that way, but I know I am exactly where I should be, at home taking care of my kids. I thank my Heavenly Father, I am so blessed just to have a roof over our heads and my family all together. And to watch them grow every day.

2009 IN THE MAKING

We had an awesome Christmas. someone did the '12 days of christmas' for us so we got a different piece to a nativity each night. it was really fun, the kids would race to the door to try to catch the mystery people. I had all eight kids toghether for the first time ever it was amazing. Brighton is a wonderful addition to our family he just fits right in, like he has always been here. then of course there is Sophia she is now nine months old. just learning to crawl, and a huge mama's girl (which is exactly how I like it since she is my last) Mallory will be 18 next month. she is looking for scholarships and colleges. dallin is doing good, he just got his own apartment. Madaline is getting tall and cant wait to move into the teens. Isaac is a great first grader, he loves school. isabelle is a big helper she like to play mommy, and barbies. Logan is definately in his terrible twos but getting better, he gets into everything, if you have seen the movie 'Marley and me' he is Marley, I am so blessed, and greatful for these wonderful people in my life.

My Lastest Project

hello. so I haven't blogged for a while obviously, just trying to keep up with the kids, so here is my story, I like to look at this one moms blog that does hair style tutorials for little girls, to get cute hair dos for my little princess. she quit blogging a few months ago for personal reasons, but just happened to blog today with this cute little skirt tutorial. so I thought, I can do that, so here it is my first of many skirts I will make for my girls it was so easy and fun I love sewing, and maybe with practice will get better. I will have to make them for all the little girls I know now.

p.s. I made a matching one for Sophia too. So cute!

Isaac is into making up his own recipies, this is his latest, tortilla, with butter, cinnamon, sugar, cheese, ham, marsmellows, melt in microwave for 15-20 seconds. and as Isaac says we all have to try it cus, 'you dont even know if its gross unless you try'
