Yeah for me, I was up til midnight last night canning tomatoes, I figured I would wait til things settled down, I forgot they take a while to cook. It was fun I actually like canning, they look cute and the feeling of accomplishment of course. I would like to do some peaches too but don't have a tree so I will have to find them on sale to buy enough to can =)

I just did a whole bunch of canned peaches and peach jam. I used your mom's recipe for the jam. It is delicious!!! We have a peach tree in our yard that produced a ton this year! I wish you lived closer so that I could have shared with you :(

I love canning too! I would sometimes leave the finished product on my counter for a couple of days just so I could admire them!
