What A Blessing!

We had our darling angel blessed this month, I even bore my testimony, (with fewer tears than expected) My cute husband came it was really nice to have him there. My Aunt Luana made her cute dress, her cute flower I have to give thanks to my friend Rebecka and her talent. Joe and Ashley came and Joe gave her the blessing for me it was beautiful, thanks tons Joe for your preisthood, and for being close enough to be more visible in our life. nobody stood up to be in the circle, so I had to start calling people by name. it was great. LOL

Yippee! She is here.

Daily, I would wonder, is today the day? Tuesday night I was having stronger contractions than I have had, nothing regular. I couldn't sleep, anxious I guess, I knew this was the night. I got up went in the front room to watch tv for a while, I even told my daughter, who was doing homework on the computer when I got up, I was probably going to go into labor tonight. I just knew. around 1:00 am I was having more contractions still nothing regular, but I wanted to help them along so I got up and walked around the front room, nothing was happening so I went back to bed, this happened a few times, finally I think it was 1:45 my water broke not alot just a little so I got up to make sure I didn't just pee my pants, although I knew I hadn't cuz I just went a few min. earlier. so I nudged my husband, told him 'she wants to be born today'. While he got up, I got my things ready, the contractions were getting stronger and a longer but still not real steady. but hey my water broke right, they cant turn me away now. I sat on the bed waiting for Jake to be ready he asked if he had time to take a shower, I said sure a quick one, the contractions weren't great anyway. By the time we got to the hospital, the c's were more steady but still about 10 minutes apart, they got to 6 minutes when they called for the epidural, the nurse informed me she would call the doc. on call, that unless I waited til after 7:00 my doc. wouldn't deliver me,I wasn't happy. He heard I was there and came in just after 6:30 but told me he had to do a C-section and would hopefully be back before i delivered, C-sections start at 730 and take about an hour. the nurse checked me around 8:15 and I was ready, she went to see if my doc was done, he had just finished, one push later, Sophia was born at 8:30 weighing 7lbs. 10oz. she is beautiful.

A little tribute to my ADORABLE kids,and LOVING husband whom i am EXTREMELY grateful for. I have been tired and overwhelmed, with these last few months of pregnancy. and my 38th birthday! holy cow, (I know its not 40 yet, but really close) but my CUTE kids make me SMILE.

ROOT CANAL!

So I finally decided to get my root canals done,(yes, plural meaning 2) I had been putting it off for at least 6 months that I knew about them. It wasn't so bad, at first(6 mo. ago) I was going to go completely under so I didn't have to feel anything, but now that I am pregnant, they could only numb me. but it was ok, He did one at a time and then let me have a break, before doing the next one. they were really nice. so by the time i was done ...2 hours later. I was numb for another hour and a half, and when the numb finally wore off, oh my goodness I wanted to cry, but had to keep my composure so I didn't scare the kids. Mallory had to work and my husband went back to work, but as soon as I was feeling anything I was on the phone begging my husband to come home, and feel my pain killer prescription. which he did and I made him take care of the kids all night while I layed in bed. It would have been a nice little break if I wasn't in so much pain. anyway after trading off every two hours between Tylenol and lortab for the night, I am feeling much better this morning. =) oh and to top it off he thinks there is another one(root canal) that will need to be done

Hello, its been a while but we are well, after about 10 days of Logan having the flu. throwing up 4-5 times a night, but then (wierd) seemed fine during the day, (well not fine, whiney and wanting to be held but not vomiting,) so anyway with him basically on sprit and saltines for those days he is finally eating solid food again, and now his tummy has to get used to solids i guess, so now we have head to toe poop every morning. yippy!! oh I made the yummiest roast sunday it turned out SO good and juicey, I love a good roast, it is one of my favorites. I found this really cool site for dinners its called "simplifysupper.com" it has easy, 5-6 item recipies and a grocery list for the week or you can make your own calendar, and pick the recipies you want for the week, or month, and its free. it looks really cool, I havent made anything on it yet, but i love new recipies and someone else planning what to cook every night =)that will save me lots of time, and energy. oh BTW. It's a girl, (or will be) and her name will be Sophia May. this pregancy has been too easy. Hopefully it will continue. Anyone interested, I love the Doterra oils, it is so fun to get my order in the mail every month and to find new things to use them for, the kids remind me to put oils on them too.

canning tomatoes

Yeah for me, I was up til midnight last night canning tomatoes, I figured I would wait til things settled down, I forgot they take a while to cook. It was fun I actually like canning, they look cute and the feeling of accomplishment of course. I would like to do some peaches too but don't have a tree so I will have to find them on sale to buy enough to can =)
